1.1 Messages

Your chat messages are sent to AI providers (Groq, Gemini, SambaNova, OpenRouter) to generate responses. These messages are:

• Not stored permanently on our servers
• Processed in real-time only
• Not used to train AI models
• Not shared with third parties beyond the AI providers

1.2 Technical Information

We collect limited technical information for security and performance:

• IP address (for rate limiting - 30 requests per 60 seconds)
• Session ID (for CSRF protection)
• Error logs (when errors occur)

2. How We Use Information

• To provide AI chat responses
• To prevent abuse (rate limiting)
• To protect against security threats
• To debug and fix technical issues

3. Data Storage

Conversation Data: Your conversation history is stored only in your browser's IndexedDB storage. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers unless you include it in a message you send.

Rate Limiting: IP addresses and request counts are stored temporarily in a server-side SQLite database used for abuse prevention. Old records are automatically deleted.

Logs and runtime state: Error logs, provider health state, and operational JSON files are stored on the server outside the public web root when deployed correctly. They are not shared externally.

4. Third-Party Services

We use one or more configured AI providers to generate responses:

• Groq - Processing of chat messages
• Google Gemini - Processing of chat messages
• SambaNova - Processing of chat messages
• OpenRouter - Processing of chat messages
• NVIDIA - Processing of chat messages and optional safety checks
• Other configured providers - Used only when enabled by the site operator for routing or failover

Each provider has their own privacy policy. By using this service, your messages are also subject to their respective privacy terms.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use:

• Session cookies for CSRF token management
• LocalStorage to save your conversation history and theme preference

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Clear your conversation history by starting a new chat
• Clear LocalStorage through your browser settings
• Disable cookies through your browser settings

7. Security

We implement security measures including:

• CSRF token protection on all API requests
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse
• Input sanitization to prevent XSS attacks
• Secure HTTPS connections

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
